Celcom Broadband vs. Maxis Broadband

I’m using Celcom Broadband since April 2008. What should I do? Why I started change to Maxis? Why?
The answer is CELCOM CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM FILEHOSTING (RAPIDSHARE, MEGAUPLOAD)
Why?
I’m start using Maxis Broadband by now and yet, I got 7 days as the trial day for the services.
Anyone know about this 2 products?
Should I maintain Celcom Broadband?
Should I cancel Maxis Broadband?
I need you feedback!

The reason is the IP is sharing among other at the same node. Same as U mobile. It mean a lot of user have the same IP. For sure fileshare will detect same IP is already downloading file from their server especially during peak hours. The only way to bypass this is to buy premium rapidshare account.

i got no money after using 2 broadband
about the IP Address, i know that they using the static IP Address system and in the same times, they can save a lot of money
if they give us the dynamic IP Address like Streamyx, they can’t save up a lot if money for sure

aku rasa baik ko pakai maxis..aku pun ada dua2.celcom aku pakai modem yg warna hitam tu..ym pun tak boleh masuk..tapi ada orang boleh pulak log in ym..selepas aku buat research kat internet ramai celcom subscriber yang ada problem yg sama..tak boleh log in ym..
maxis plak so far ok..cume lately ini aku tak boleh nk surf sebab connected with limited connectivity..dunno why..
digi tu tak tau la..tak pernah try lagi.

sebenarnya, bergantung kepada area yang kau guna gak kan

tapi kalo kat LUCT, baik guna maxis
aku dengar ramai lecturer aku kat sanan guna maxis

Salam. Aku merupakan slh sorg pengguna berukband celcom. Aku dh gune slame 6 bln. pengalaman yg aku dpt,ym mmg ssh nk login, tp download dr mediafire.com menggunakan IDM mmg mantop. streaming pun ok. kebiasaan sabtu & ahad line agak slow. anyway surfing mmg ok la. cume mase2 tertentu kdg2 bole disconnect. bile reconnect smule jd ok blk.

dua dua perkhidmatan kat atas tu mampu menyumbah peratusan yang tinggi untuk rakyat malaysia dijangkiti sakit jantung kerana kelembapan internet yg terlampau..

kekadang tuh aku rasa cam sakit je jantung aku nih sebab internet slow
kekadang lak kan, aku rasa TM Net 1515 a.k.a Dial-Up lagi laju daripada benda alah tuh

nak buat macam mana kannn….
maxis ngan celcom dan yang lain lain yang menggunakan gelombang tuh akan menghadapi masalah sebab dia tak stable macam yang lain

dia ada masalah bila cable dia problem

Owh, patut la aku tak dapat download dari Rapidshare. Selalu je error. Before this aku pakai Maxis bb. Tapi kat tempat aku line slow sangat2 Maxis. Then, aku pakai Celcom. Leh la tahan, lagipun, aku tak selalu download kat Rapidshare.
Well, kalau coverage Maxis kat sana ok, pakai je la Maxis.

pada aku maxis la terbaik..tetapi..maxis tak full coverage macam celcom..tu jer problem..kalo kg aku payah la..kalo kat tgh bandar ok jer..sgt superb maxis berbanding celcom berukband no 1 malaysia..hahaha

salam bro, aku pn nk kongsi pengalaman aku testing beruk2band kt mesia neh. so far aku dh acu cuba try testis maxis, wimax, celcom, umobile
a) meksis~ agak keji la bandwitch @ bahasa saintifiknya fair usage policy 2gb jer. bila jer exceed akan slalu dc @ trus xle login not to mention harga agak mahal compare yg lain
b) wimax ~ kt umh aku line wimax cm soit!! dh la nk kena letak tepi tingkap pastu usik sket dc. modem bagak not so portable if korang pakai lappy
c) selkom berukben~ agak beruk la line dia. speed paling unstable dp 100kbps transfer rate le drop jd 9.8kbps. worst case scenario, dh ejas setting, tweak jadah pn sama je. since selkom ni plg ramai user so cmtu la jadi nye. yg best nya sbb le guna pree je la (aku ada ajar trick kt blog aku). sbg bekas technician selkom berukben aku x galakkn kawan2 aku pakai natang neh. x berbaloi langsung unless korang newbie aka buta it cuma reti browsing je.
d) umobile ~ the best antara sme yg aku dh try. speed maintain, max transfer rate penah cecah 500++kbps (tgk time ngn server la) paling murah, bil pn le bayar 4-5 bulan skali hak hak hak. fair usage policy dia kata 5gb tp tiap2 bln aku lenjan average 35gb xder menda pn bak kata pepatah dengan tenang babi berenang tp xkena selsema. yg ni aku rekemen kt kengkawan yg dok area klang valley
tp sblom korang nk amik pe2 pakej wireless berukben neh aku nasihatkn jgn expect menda tu cm stimik, byk kelemahan natang neh. connection unstable, rapidshit mmg xlepas since dia shared i.p , bandwitch limited kalu yg penghidap download cm aku neh mmg x berbaloi nk guna wireless berukben neh. service failure tanpa notis, tp klu korang golongan nomad, lite user, pakai lappy kecik nk lepak bawah pokok main mukabuku sila la,
skrg aku pakai stimik kombo 1mb umh aku kt damansara perdana le dpt speed 1.75mbps :P

contoh mcm kat cyberjaya kan
kat hostel aku, aku rasa maxis is the best la kalo compare ngan celcom
plus, maxis boleh download rapidshare
but then, maxis skang dah ada banyak package
so, kau boleh pilih la nak package mana
dia ada yang 2GB, 6GB, 10GB
kalo tak silap aku la
yang pasti, streamyx is the best la sebab dia je yang stable
benda yang wireless pasti ada kekurangan dia
sebab dia tak stable

tol tuh, aku dlu pakai wireless broadband sbb dok umh sewa, so klu pindah sng nak bawak. skrg neh dah dok tetap kt sini gamble jer la amik stimik. pastu rasa nyesal lk x amik stimik awal2 hehe
bab location tu mmg btol, since derang sme ikut network wave masing2. area umah aku ni celcom ngn umobile mmg stabil sket compare maxis, wimax teruk line dia padahal blok sbelah dapat signal chantek

syer guner dua2. maxis guner clcom guner. syer tggl kat sungai petani kedah. area taman ria. celcom dah pkai slama 1thun 6 bulan, while maxis baru sebulan. so far maxis is the best. 2 bulan lps maxis3g x derk kat area umah sayer. pas2 dah ader tros amik maxis. celcom plak time paling bengang when 1 week b4 raya. boleh connect tp x ley bukak google. so syer syorkan mxis larh

aku xpnh nk experience gne berukben ni cme nk kgsi info la ckit..
xtau la kt jpon tenet die lju thp mne tp skng aku stdy kt jordan tenet die fulamak laju giler,,kdg2 dload cite 700mb rate die pnh smpai 800/900kbps..
sejam je dload cite,,hihi…xlme lg abis blaja aku nk cbe mne2 berukben yg ko rekomen,,hihi..;)

Referred my previous complaint about my internet connection and until now I don’t received any solution to solve my problem.For your information,when I’m just surfing the web pages,a connection is perfect in 3G @ HSDPA mode BUT WHEN STARTED DOWNLOADING A LARGE FILE,IT BECOME TO EDGE MODE.IT MAKE A REAL NIGHTMARE FOR ME BECAUSE A FILE I ALREADY DOWNLOADING TAKES A LONGEST FOR COMPLETES.
PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM ASAP.DON’T MAKE YOUR COSTUMER DISAPPOINTING.

Hi;
I’m have a big problem here and need solution ASAP,as I mention above,this problem give me a big trouble and make me disappointing when I download a large file.
Before this all smooth until yesterday when I’m downloads some large file,a connection change from HSDPA to EDGE without inform me first,a the same time make a file I’m downloading be a longest time for complete,example if using HSDPA it just 15 minutes for file size 90mb,when used EDGE it turn to 4 hours for same size!After downloading complete,it change back to HSDPA connection as before.For your information,a weather is perfect and no a bit could at sky for entire day.
Hopefully your can solve my problem ASAP and all cooperation I’m deeplly appreciate.
